So, had a bit of a scare a few days ago. Things were getting a little stressed for me, and I had the beginnings of an anxiety attack. I haven’t had an anxiety attack since before I started Lexapro, which was in March of 2006. I’ve been off it since March of 2007, and have been doing great. I started to feel an attack come on, which made me panic, which made things worse. Thankfully it stopped before it went into a full blown attack. They really suck. And I DO NOT want to be put back on medication. I have only lost 7 of the 30 pounds I gained from being on it, and I really don’t want to add any more, thank you very much!
Went to Jeff City this weekend for another bridal shower. This one is for Matt’s cousin Daryl and his bride-to-be Nora. Matt’s mom and I headed up there early so we could go shopping at the Schaefer House, which sells decorative items. They have a yearly warehouse sale, and it happened to be this weekend. We met up with two of Matt’s aunts, and went shopping. We were all really good, and didn’t spend too much, unlike the sale last year. Went to lunch, then went to the shower. Talked to a couple of Matt’s cousins, and had a generally good time. I had only gotten about 4 hours sleep the night before, so I went home right away and fell asleep on the couch. That’s where Matt found me when he came home from the Cards game. I then proceeded to sleep half the day away….it’s been raining, so it was the PERFECT day to stay in bed.
So, I watched Smoking Aces for the first time….not a bad movie at all. I hate Ben Affleck, but he dies right away, so it’s all good. There’s a nice little plot twist that I sorta predicted….well, I predicted the first part, anyway. The last scene is SO good, that it made it worth watching. 🙂
