Update on the bacon soap:<\/p>\n
So, I’ve been searching frantically for a bacon scent, with no luck. I got close last night- found a candle supply company that sells a bacon scent, but unfortunately, this particular brand isn’t skin safe (many candle fragrances can be used in soap). Found a hickory white pepper scent at another website, but the company no longer sells it. Now I’m getting annoyed.<\/p>\n
On a happier note- I’ve found some awesome scents that I will definitely be using in soaps, including wasabi, beer, and woodsmoke. I’m on the hunt for the perfect fall scent….woodsmoke, rain, spice, apples, and tea. Mmmmm….I want to be able to smell that all year round.<\/p>\n
In other news, Teavana is a DANGEROUS store for me. After picking Sara up from the airport on Saturday (she was briefly in town for a wedding- it was awesome to see her), we headed to the Galleria for lunch, new shoes for shooting weddings, and screen protectors for our new iPhones. Stopped by Teavana and picked up an awesome blend….Banana Calpyso and Formosa Nut Oolong. Banana nut bread tea…..yum. Do you think they have a Tea Drinkers Anonymous.<\/p>\n
