Randomness:<\/p>\n
-Made my first batch of soap with Jessi. Am now OFFICIALLY addicted. My next soaps will be a replacement for Irish Spring, a baby soap, and bacon soap. I definitely have to get better molds for the soaps though.<\/p>\n
-Took some awesome pictures of Laura, but I am saving those for my professional blog, which needs to go up soon. I think I may put that up before I put up the website. I’m having the worst time with picking out images for the portfolio. I guess it’s because I’m just starting out, and don’t have a huge variety of images. Definitely need to get on the ball with that.<\/p>\n
-Speaking of portfolio: am going to start working on a small graphic design portfolio as well. I am the type of person who is never going to be satisfied doing just one thing (translation: I’m a spaz), so maybe I can throw in an occasional design project between weddings. <\/p>\n
-See’s candy is awesome, and am now WAY too fat. Matt and I’ve made a deal- once we reach our target weight, and maintain it, we get rewarded. As in Matt get’s his eyes fixed, and I get a trip to Ireland. I’m hoping my goal will be reached in time to make the trip for our five year anniversary. We’ll see.<\/p>\n
-Going vegetarian for a month: I am still planning on starting mid-September. I’ve been doing a lot of research, and have collected a bunch of recipes. I am also slowly starting to cut out meat. Made mushroom burgers the other day….they weren’t too bad. I know it’s not going to be easy, but I really think I can do it. My goal in all of this is to kickstart some healthier eating habits. I rely too much on meat and starch, and don’t eat nearly enough veggies. Matt can be a meatatarian if he wants, but I know that my current diet isn’t going to help me lose weight.<\/p>\n
Finally, Addison turns 2 in a week! He’s getting so big, and is honestly the best behaved child I have ever seen. I know that when Matt and I have kids, we will not be so lucky. I was a brat as a kid, and I know Karma is going to bit my ass.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
